Dr. Alexanderia Bertrand, was born in the small town of Negaunee, Michigan, and was raised there for the first 20 years of her life. She moved to Panama City Beach in 2012. Dr. Alex is a first generation graduate, and a first-generation dentist. She received her BS degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of West Florida in 2019, and her DMD degree from the University of Louiseville School of Dentistry in 2024.
You may recognize this familiar face, as Dr. Alex started working with Parkway Dental in 2014 as a dental assistant while she obtained her bachelor's degree. Dr. Alex is a member of numerous dental and community groups, such as the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Bay County Dental Association. Dr. Bertrand volunteers extensively in community dental programs such as Florida's Missions of Mercy.
Dr. Alex married her husband, Dalton, in 2019. They have three sulcata tortoises (Crayton, Rosie, and Corona), a golden retriever named Buford and a black lab named Elliot. Besides singing every song that comes on the radio, In her free time, she enjoys taking the boat out to Shell Island, fishing with her husband, and going to Disney World.
